We are pleased to invite you to our next webinar dedicated to GC×GC Guideline for MOSH/MOAH on 28 April 2026 at 11:00 AM CEST
Mineral Oil Hydrocarbons (MOH) include:
- MOSH (Mineral Oil Saturated Hydrocarbons) – can accumulate in tissues and may cause liver effects.
- MOAH (Mineral Oil Aromatic Hydrocarbons) – some sub-fractions are genotoxic and carcinogenic, making them a high-priority risk group.
Concerns arise from contamination via packaging, processing aids, lubricants, and environmental sources. Because of complex matrices and overlapping compounds, EU laboratories require high-resolution, more selective techniques: GC×GC has become essential for evaluating MOH contamination.
EU guidance describes a standardized analytical workflow, instrument set-up, and harmonized classification for mineral oil compounds.
This webinar will provide:
- An up-to-date overview of legislative developments
- Standardized analytical approaches
- Operational strategies to ensure product compliance and consumer protection
