Food Migration Testing for Plastic Materials
EU Regulation No 10/2011 requires that plastics intended for food contact comply with overall migration limits (OML) and specific migration limits (SML).
In order to verify compliance with these limits, the materials are brought into contact with food simulants under conditions of time and temperature defined in the aforementioned Regulation.
Neotron performs global migration testing in accordance with Reg. EU No 10/2011 and UNI EN 1186 (accredited analyses) as well as various specific migration analyses with in-house and accredited methods.
